AceType

AceType is a premium, theme-customizable speed typing test web app. It helps you measure and improve your WPM (words per minute) and accuracy across different difficulty levels — from casual practice to serious training.

Each difficulty level changes the complexity and length of the generated paragraph. Easy mode uses short, common sentences. Medium introduces longer structures. Hard challenges you with dense, technical, or unusual text to push your limits.

Confidence Mode disables backspacing during the test. Once you type a character, you can't correct it — forcing you to focus on accuracy from the start. Enable it in Settings under Typing Experience.

If you're signed in, your WPM, accuracy, and session history are automatically synced to the cloud after every test. Guest sessions are not saved. You can view your stats on the Profile page.

Absolutely. AceType ships with 40+ built-in themes — from dark minimal to neon cyberpunk and national flag palettes. You can also adjust font size, cursor style, and whether live stats are shown during typing.

AceType uses an AI-powered content generation system to create unique, varied paragraphs for every test session. This means you never repeat the same text, keeping your practice fresh and realistic.

Yes. AceType is completely free with no paywalls. All themes, difficulty levels, and statistics tracking are available to every user — signed in or not. Signing in simply unlocks cloud sync.
